TWF Xtreme 07

The entrance video for Xtreme plays in the arena, featuring a collage of various shots of the TWF roster, each man circled by the camera followed by explosions of varying degree. The intro video ends with a final, larger explosion as we cut to the arena and a series of fireworks on the ramp-way.

MATCH 01 – Real Deal VS Huge Greenburger

Greenburger staggers forward, still dazed after the surprise attack earlier in the week. Deal kicks him in the gut, then sets him up for the Deal Maker. Deal somehow manages to lift Greenburger to chest height, but Greenburger’s extreme weight advantage causes Deal to stagger backwards, falling to the mat and being crushed by Greenburger. Greenburger is still catching his breath from the kick to the gut and hasn’t a clue that he’s got Deal covered. The ref counts….1……2……3! Greenburger wins! The bell sounds and Greenburger’s music hits, causing the big man to stand up in surprise. Deal lies on the mat, winded.

Greenburger runs backstage, unsure why his music is playing. He doesn’t look where he’s going and walks straight into the metal frame surrounding the ramp entrance. He staggers backwards before finally making his way backstage. By this time Deal has recovered, and looks towards Greenburger with unrelenting hatred. He bangs his fist against the mat as we cut to a commercial break.

MATCH 02 – Flake VS Brick Manson

The two men lock up in the centre of the ring, where Brick gains the advantage and throws Flake to the ropes and hitting the German athlete with a big boot on the rebound. He lifts Flake to his feet and throws him to the ropes again and attempts a clothesline. Flake ducks most of it but clips his head on Manson’s arm, sending him back down to the mat. Manson stands over Flake and locks him in a cobra clutch, lifting Flake up and holding him up in the air and off the mat. He drops down, sending Flake crashing back down to the mat, head first. Manson covers….1….2…. Flake manages to just get the shoulder up. Manson lifts Flake up and bounces him off the ropes, hitting him on the return with a powerslam.

He covers again, and again Flake manages to kick out after two. Manson drops a knee to Flake’s head before lifting the German athlete up and over his head, before spinning him round and dropping him to the canvas with a big fallaway slam. Manson covers a third time, but Flake kicks out after 2 once more. Manson picks Flake up off the mat and attempts a big punch to the head. Flake ducks, dropkicking the back of Manson’s legs and knocking the big man down to one knee. Flake bounces off the opposite ropes and hits a similar dropkick to Manson’s face.

Flake climbs the turnbuckle and proceeds to drop a big elbow onto Manson, then moves to his legs and locks in the Stein-Lock! Flake locks the move in as hard as he can, but it still doesn’t stop Manson dragging himself towards the ropes. With some effort, Manson makes it, forcing Flake to break the hold. Manson is up to his feet immediately, dropping Flake with a boot to the face. Manson waits for Flake to get to his feet before moving in for the Last Call.

Flake squirms and breaks the hold, leaping onto Manson’s back and locking in a sleeper. Manson reaches back and grabs Flake by the head, lifting him over his head and into position for the Last Call. Manson hits the move! He covers Flake…1…..2…..3. The match is over!

Manson leaves as soon as the final bell rings, content with the knowledge that, in his mind, this was an easy win. Greenburger attempts to come down the ramp to check on his “uncle,” but is stopped by Manson, who chokeslams Greenburger on the ramp before picking him up and throwing him off the ramp and into the crowd. Manson continues his walk backstage as we cut to a commercial.

We cut to the parking lot, where we see the parking space for Real Deal’s rental car. The camera pans up the vehicle to reveal that the windscreen has been smashed and yellow paint streaked down the centre of the roof and all the way down the back of the car. On the bonnet we see the initials “DD” and the word “Anarchy” written hurriedly across it. The camera focuses on this for a moment before cutting to the arena.

MATCH 03 – The Game VS Vayne

Both men lock up, with The Game forcing Vayne back into the corner. The ref calls for the clean break, and The Game does so, before kicking Vayne viciously in the side. The ref intervenes and breaks the two up, giving Vayne chance to hit The Game with an elbow to the head before distracting the referee and hitting a totally uncalled for low blow. Vayne drops an elbow on The Game before hitting a trademark flip-over neckbreaker on The Game, wrenching his neck forward. Vayne covers, and gets a 2 count.

Vayne locks in a sleeper on The Game, refusing to let him recover for even a second. The Game manages to get to his feet despite the pressure from Vayne, before hitting several elbows to Vayne’s gut and bouncing off the ropes. Vayne throws a punch towards The Game but misses. The Game ducks under the punch and pops up behind Vayne, locking in a sleeper of his own. Vayne lurches forward, lifting The Game off the ground. He locks The Game in position before dropping backwards, winding The Game.

Vayne gets to his feet and checks himself over for cuts and bruises. He notices a small welt on his gut and goes into a rage, throwing as many kicks and punches at The Game as he can before the referee steps in to break the assault. Vayne bounces The Game off the ropes and hits a high knee to the face, then bounces off the ropes himself and hits a spinning leg drop on The Game. Vayne covers….1…..2….

The Game kicks out. Vayne throws The Game into the corner before climbing to the second turnbuckle and punching The Game in the head. The crowd join in with counting each punch. Vayne reaches 10 and looks out at the audience, giving The Game chance to drop Vayne down with an Atomic Drop. The move doesn’t connect, and Vayne knocks The Game down with a kick to the gut followed by a double underhook suplex. Vayne climbs to the turnbuckle in readiness for the DeepVayne. The Game recovers quickly and charges Vayne before he can jump. He knocks Vayne back and climbs the turnbuckle himself. He wraps Vayne up in the Pedigree position before hitting the move off the top turnbuckle! The Game covers and the ref counts…1…..2…..3! The match is over and The Game is declared the winner!

We cut to backstage, where Flake and Greenburger are being attended to by EMT’s. Flake has an ice pack pressed to the back of his head, whilst Greenburger lays on a gurney with a neck brace. EMT’s continue to check on both of them.

“Do not worry my nephew, I shall get revenge on that bad man for what he has done to you.”

“Yes Uncle Flake.”

“Now you shall rest hier…. und I will go and talk to Mr Prior about it.”

Flake pats Greenburger on the shoulder before walking off.

MATCH 04 – Sean Harrison VS The Player (TWF World Championship)

The bell rings and the two men move to the centre of the ring. They talk trash at each other before Harrison throws a punch. The Player blocks and throws a punch of his own, causing Harrison to stagger backwards, more out of surprise than anything else. Harrison returns the punch with a knee to the gut and slings The Player against the ropes, who ducks the attempted clothesline and bounces off the ropes on the opposite side, but is then caught by a Samoan Drop by Harrison on the rebound. Harrison takes hold of one of The Player’s legs and kicks him in the thigh several times, before wrapping The Player up in a modified figure four.

The Player struggles and reaches the ropes. Harrison breaks the hold and continues to dish out punishment on The Player before he can make it back to his feet. Harrison’s kicks cause The Player to fall out of the ring through the ropes. The ref starts the count as Harrison follows The Player outside. Harrison picks The Player up and hits him in the chest with several nasty chops. The Player responds in kind, resulting in a Ric Flair “Woooo!” from the crowd each time a chop connects.

The Player breaks the cycle with a boot to the gut, then throws Harrison into the ringpost. Harrison hits the floor hard as The Player climbs onto the crowd barrier and hits a devastating reverse splash on the champion. The ref reaches 7, where The Player decides to roll back in and out again, breaking the count. He lifts Harrison to his feet and drops him to the concrete with a modified stunner, before lifting him up again and rolling him back in the ring. The Player covers, using the ropes for leverage. The ref counts to 2 before noticing the infringement, and refuses to finish the count.

The Player stands and steps outside, grabbing a steel chair, the weapon that is quickly becoming his trademark. He climbs back into the ring where the ref tries to stop him. The Player pushes the ref aside and moves forward to strike Harrison. He swings the chair, hitting Harrison across the skull. The ref calls for the bell – the match is over. Harrison doesn’t go down straight away – The Player swings again but misses this time, giving Harrison time enough to drop The Player with a DDT onto the steel chair. As Harrison’s music hits the speakers, Vayne makes his way to the ring.

He slides under the bottom rope as Harrison gets to his feet slowly. The Player stands up behind Harrison, groggy but still able to stand without assistance. Vayne runs forward to attack Harrison….. only to divert at the last second and hit a leaping clothesline on The Player instead!  Harrison moves in to attack as Vayne continues his assault on The Player, throwing in as many punches on him as possible. Harrison grabs Vayne by the neck but is forced to let go following a low blow from Vayne. Harrison staggers back as Vayne bounces off the ropes and hits a standing variation of the DeepVayne, taking the champion down and out, a thunderous echo reverberating around the arena.

Vayne slides out of the ring and reaches beneath the apron, returning with a 8 foot ladder! He slides back into the ring with the ladder and sets it up in the centre of the ring. He moves Harrison next to Vayne and lines them up next to each other on the mat before starting the climb up the ladder. Vayne reaches halfway before The Player regains his faculties and starts climbing the other side. Both men start throwing punches at the other as Harrison gets back to his feet and moves over to the ladder. He hits The Player across the back before placing him on his shoulders and hitting the Electric Chair Drop on The Player.

Vayne reaches the top of the ladder and poises himself. Harrison turns to face the ladder as Vayne launches himself from the top. Harrison ducks, causing Vayne to land right on top of The Player with a huge body splash. Harrison quickly attacks Vayne as he staggers to his feet and hits a massive Attitude Adjustment, with Vayne landing headfirst on the still standing ladder! Harrison gets back to his feet and grabs his title as his music hits once more and Xtreme goes off the air!
