The pyro begins, soon after Simon Prior’s music hits, he gets a great reaction from the crowd. As he starts to speak he pauses for a while so nobody in the audience misses his important speech.
“I have been wrestling for a number of years now and I have found out there are very few honest people in this business and to be fare I am not one of them, but I think the fans of the TWF should be questioning how far things can actually go in this company. Months and months Fallen Angel was missing and no one still has any answers as to where the hell he was, all we know is the two people who are responsible for this are still walking unpunished and free. So I am demanding that by the end of tonight’s show Adam Phillips or the Reaper answers my question, or action never seen before in the TWF will be taken….”
Adam Phillips music ‘ Gets me through’ by Ozzy Osbourne hits and Adam waltzes down to the ring smiling.
“Well look who it isn’t……if it isn’t that ass hole who when if I recollect at the last PPV lost a Power Struggle Match for the control of this company in a steel cage…..and this guy is demanding that I tell him why I did what I did and how we did what we did……how do I put this Prior.. Fuck You!”
“Well look who it is stood in front of me…a man who claims to be the king of the cage but lost to a rookie last week and oh is about to be crucified at the next PPV by Peace, a match which by the way this ass hole booked (laughs)“
Phillips gets in Priors face.
“You’ve got a nerve haven’t you, what makes you think you can stop me from doing what I like and when I like. There is no way that tonight or any night I have to explain myself to these Neanderthals in the crowd.”
“Adam if you don’t stand in the ring tonight and explain yourself to the crowd and everyone, there will be serious consequences for the TWF, the fans and most importantly you…..” Prior leaves the ring.
TWF interviewer Craig Brooks is seen waiting in the car park as Joey steps out of a limousine seemingly packed full of half naked women.
“Joey McMahon after the shocking events last week in the TWF I am quite shocked to see you here, and especially arriving in a limousine!”
“First of all I would like to say that Ax is in hospital and I will have a very special interviewer with him, will see him later tonight. I have personally told Ax to take his time to recover after all its costing Adam Phillips a bomb to keep Ax in hospital. As for the limousine that also is being paid for by Mr. Phillips, the girls however just cant resist a bit of Joey love….. And as for Phillips, well its about time I went and paid him a little visit”
The camera follows Joey as he makes his way into Phillips’s office, once there Joey finds an empty room, so he sits on the sofa and starts drinking Adam and Reaper’s Jack Daniels whiskey.
At this point we see Adam Phillips waiting back in the car lot to make an announcement.
“I the esteemed owner of the TWF would like to make a major announcement, that at the end of tonight’s show I and my team of wrestlers would like to make a major announcement. Also while I am here I would like to inform the fans of tonight’s first match, which will see the TWF champion Reaper in a non title match against both Flake and Greenburger! Also tonight I would like to say that I forgive Peace for last week and would like to invite him to come and make a compromise with me so all this unnecessary brutality at the next PPV – TWF Countdown to Extinction will not need to occur. Now also tonight when he arrives I want you Mr. Brooks to get Joey’s response to my proposal last week”
“He has already arrived Mr. Phillips he was heading to your office when I last saw him”
“Oh really, fine, then I will pay him a visit….” Adam is cut off by a pissed of Reaper!
“What in the hell do you think you are do’ in Adam, putting me in a handicap match? you crazy son of a …..”
“No… what the hell do you think you are doing (Reaper looks stunned)…leaving me last week for a damn Anthrax concert. Did you watch what happened to me last week dammit?”
“Well actually, no I didn’t, no, so fuckin’ what?”
“SO FUCKIN WHAT? because of you I lost my cage match against Spitfire, when Peace cheated me out of it. If you were here I would have won! (Adam calms himself)…….. Also tonight you are facing them to get it in their stupid minds that they are not part of our team”
Reaper seems to be getting angry.
“You got screwed did you, right, you know what to do, don’t ya? You gotta get a rematch tonight, don’t ya, and kick his ass, you always get revenge… your Adam Phillips dammit!”
“Revenge I’m Adam Phillips dammit!”
“You wanna get him in a special match that will prove why you are Adam Phillips dammit!”
“Special match show why I’m Adam Phillips dammit!”
“I don’t know, something like a ladder match to prove your as good as the best…like HBK, Shawn Michaels ,you re Adam Phillips dammit”
“Ladder match….like HBK….Adam Phillips dammit! Yes me and him in a ladder match tonight, God I am good! Dammit!”
Adam walks off, as he leaves Reaper smiles and shakes his head in disbelief.
Reaper Vs Huge Greenburger and Flake.
Flake and Greenburger enter to the tune of Kiss and Partners in Crime for some very strange reason, which is then explained by Greenburger, once Reaper has made his furious entrance.
“Did you here that Mr. Reaper, that’s us 2 and your 3, we could be partners in crime (smiles), a new group more powerful than the Power Rangers or dare I say more powerful than X Factor were….we-“
Greenburger is cut off when the massive boot of Reaper kicks him in the face. Greenburger is then out cold or so it appeared. As Reaper looks down on the fallen Greenburger, Flake climbs the corner and does a missile dropkick hitting the champion. Flake then jumps on the back of Reaper and attempts a sleeper but is pulled over Reapers head and placed in a tombstone position, Reaper then drops to his knees with as much force and velocity as he can manage.
As Reaper goes for the pin, Greenburger gets up and attempts to splash Reaper who moves, this totally finishes off Flake as Greenburger’s mass hits Flake instead. Reaper then stands looking at Greenburger and shockingly smiles, temporarily making Greenburger smile but this is soon foiled as Greenburger is smashed in the face by Reaper, who then bounces Greenburger off the ropes and pulls of a reasonably high chokeslam. At this point Greenburger and Flake are laying side by side and Reaper simply places his foot on them, getting the 3 count and then leaves. As the fans boo even they cant help but be impressed at how easily Reaper destroyed both Flake and Greenburger.
The camera cuts to Phillips’s office.
“So yes I accept the match me against Vayne at Brutal Planet for my chance to fight you for my shares back!”
“Good”. Joey gets up to leave.
“Where are you going, you got a match tonight against …..gee let me think………Peace. Good luck”
As Joey responds Spitfire enters.
“Did you wanna see me loser?”
“Oooh look Joey another soon to be dead man. Yes I did, tonight we are having a rematch in a ladder match with no interference”
“No sorry..” (goes to leave)
“What do you mean no sorry, you’ve got to”
“No I haven’t jack ass you gave me the night off when ever I wanted until Countdown to Extinction a few weeks back, during my contract negotiations, so no…well that is unless you make it worth my while…. If I win give me a title match against Reaper!”
“No chance get out my office you little punk”
“Ok but just remember you had a chance to go to the ring without the crowd chanting loser dammit! Loser dammit!” (Spitfire stops and the crowd can be heard chanting) Adam looks furious.
“Alright you got it me Vs you if you win you can face Reaper next week!”
As Spitfire leaves, Joey laughs at Adam’s decision and leaves.
We see Simon Prior sat watching the monitor as Joey makes his way down to the ring where he picks up a mike.
“I as you know I fell partly responsible for the Ax being in hospital and although he is still only 50% he has agreed to be interviewed tonight, so I have sent out the TWF’s Craig Brooks to interview Ax”
We see Ax sat in bed covered in bruises and cuts, he has a drip attached to his left arm.
“Ax its good to see you are o.k., but the fans have got to be asking the same as us all here in the TWF, why?”
“You know I have been wrestling for 30 years, and finally I won the top prize in the industry. All I wanted was some respect from the fans but I was denied this, as they didn’t want to respect me even after breaking my back for this industry for 30 years. 30 years and due to people not caring about legacies I have been broke. I was so proud when I won that belt and yet no one else cared one damn bit”
“Was it just about the TWF title?”
“Aren’t you listening, you idiot! I’m am saying that it feels like my whole career has been a waste, if people don’t respect me then why should I try and be a legend. Why should I continue to break my back for them. I have been doing it for 30 years and achieved nothing”
“So what are you saying, is it all over?
“What I am saying is my head is pretty mixed up, but I gotta make changes and I will be back as soon as I can walk to check myself out of this dump, I will be back in the TWF and I will be making an impact but for the final time. There are some people that need an awakening even if that’s from a Legend who has Fallen from grace. Maybe that’s what I needed to wake up and realize, I am the only one that knows the true root of wrestling and my legacy will be the man who is about to for one final time transform the TWF”
“Final run?”
“Yes final run. …I have given everything for the last 30 years and people don’t care. So for the next 6 months or for however long I am gonna give it my all, it will be my summer. But as the nights get darker in the Autumn, Ax may well lace up those boots one last time. That’s all I got to say”
After the interview Peace’s music hits and the wooly mammoth enters wielding a chair which he swings at Joey. Joey ducks and dives out of the ring to find his own weapon. All he can find is a bin which he soon hits Peace with and then puts it over his head. While Peace can’t see Joey picks up his chair and starts smashing Peace inside the bin. Soon Peace manages to escape the bin and he attacks Joey with lefts and rights, as both men fight on the floor the music of Adam Phillips hits and Reaper and Adam enter the ring stopping the action.
“Peace how would you like to join us? Stop being against us and be with us, we will be unstoppable!”
Shockingly Reaper takes the microphone.
“Phillips shut the fuck up. You have just potentially put me in a match next week with Spitfire, and now you are going make me team up with this idiot, no dammit! Iv no doubt Peace would love to join with me, hell I’m the only guy here who can slam Peace, and ever since I did that back in the old era Peace has been scared shit of me, well now that I think about it maybe we could be brothers one more time”
Phillips tries to talk, looking proud of himself but Reaper violently pushes Phillips to the floor. He talks to Peace:
“Now boy, I don’t like you and I never have, but for God’s sake shut him up! Points at Phillips, who looks petrified.
Peace picks up Phillips but is soon attacked by Reaper who smashes Peace over the head with a night stick, over and over again, he is then aided by Phillips (who looks very relieved) and the two soon destroy Peace. Next they are joined by Vayne who beats on his opponent at Countdown to Extinction Joey. The three beat on Joey and Peace for a while and then start dragging them backstage and throw them into the back of a transit van, the van drives off with both men. Adam, Reaper and Vayne walk away laughing.
Adam Phillips Vs Spitfire (Ladder Match).
Adam Phillips enters the ring alone and is soon met by Spitfire who runs straight at Phillips spearing him and then punching him in the face several times. Spitfire then does a snap suplex and rushes to get the ladder at ringside. He takes it into the ring but as he enters Phillips drops his legs on Spitfires head causing his face to smash into the ladder. Phillips then moves the ladder and picks up Spitfire performing a hanging vertical suplex onto the ladder before doing several leg drops on the young star. Phillips then puts the ladder on its side and uses it to perform several rib breaking sidewalk slams on Spitfire who is now in agony. With this Phillips is getting cocky and he sets the ladder against the ropes in an attempt to back body drop Spitfire onto it. However as Spitfire flies across the ring he manages to leap frog Adam and this allows him to use his body to hit the top of the ladder, which causes the bottom end to fly up and hit Adam in the gonads!!! Like a seesaw on the ropes. Both men then remain down for several minutes but it is Spitfire who gets up first. He climbs up top and does a moonsault onto Adam before picking up the ladder and placing it in the corner. As he ascends the ladder however, Adam soon follows and the two end up either side exchanging blows which after 5/6 exchanges causes both men to slip, Spitfire falls into the ring and Adam falls onto the ropes hurting his spuds once again!
Adam surprisingly gets up first and places the ladder on top of Spitfire before heading up top and splashing Spitfire with a big splash. With victory in his sights Adam then sets up the ladder and starts to climb for the imitation belt hanging above the ring, However Adam is soon cut off by Spitfire launching himself off the corner into the ladder knocking it over and sending Adam out of the ring. With this Spitfire starts climbing the ladder again. However from no where Reaper appears with Vayne and performs the Blood Scythe, jumping to his knees from half way up the ladder, Adam climbs the other side of the ladder and grabs the imitation belt.
The bell rings as Adam celebrates but soon the ring announcer announces the winner,
“Ladies and Gentlemen: due to a stipulation made earlier by Adam Phillips the winner due to interference, Spitfire”
Following this Simon Prior appears on the video screen and appears to be in the TWF video truck.
“Well, Adam have you got a big announcement to make about Fallen Angel?”
“Yeah I got an announcement but it ain’t about Fallen Angel its about next week, yes that’s it next week it will be you and Peace! (laughs)“
“And that’s it is it? Well take a look at all the people behind me in the car park. (camera pans to see over 100 people including wrestlers). That is every one who works in this company but you 3 and Spitfire who is with us also. Everyone from the camera men and the production staff to vender fillers, to maker up artists they are all here Adam and they are all going on strike until we get the answers we want. The are 3 buttons to push taking us off air Adam, the first cuts of the big screen you see me on now, the second knocks off the arena lights, and the third cuts all the cameras and TV connections. So are you gonna talk or what? This is your last chance”
“No never, I’m Adam Phillips dammit!”
“Oh well, by Adam” Prior smiles as his hand flicks the first switch turning off the TWF’s big screen.
“You listen you son of a bitch! I’m Adam Phillips dammit!”
Next all the arena lights shut down darkening the arena.
“Put my lights back on, my beautiful lights, put my screen back on, No this is my show damn it you cant do this I’m Adam Phillips dammit! No!!”
At this the show cuts off.
