The intro finishes, and business picks up straight away as “I Just Wanna Be God” hits the speakers, followed by the arrival of Adam Phillips. He walks over to the official’s table at ringside, picks up a mike, and climbs into the ring. He waits a few moments, allowing the crowd to quieten down somewhat, before speaking.
“I’d like to just start off by announcing some good news – and that is the TWF will be allowed to go ahead with this months PPV! It is scheduled for the 2nd February 2003, and will be the annually held Revelations PPV. However, I have some bad news to go with this – if whoever it is who has information about Fallen Angel… Deal… does not come forward by the end of the PPV, then I will personally see to it that the TWF closes for good dammit! I’ve seen some crazy shit in my time, but this whole Fallen Angel thing is pretty damn pathetic. For Christ’s sake Deal, just admit it. Just let Fallen Angel go… or tell us where he’s buried, whatever. Trust me, it’s only a matter of time before the Police find clear evidence that it was you.”
He shakes his head, and looks glum.
“Anyway, in other news…”
We cut to the arena screen, and see video footage of a judge from the Phillips VS Deal case, stating that they should have reached a decision in the dispute by Friday 31st January 2003. The camera cuts suddenly to the harsh reality of a cold and damp-looking prison cell. We see none other than the Real Deal stood there! He looks up and addresses the camera.
“First off, the claims against me are completely bogus. I know absolutely nothing about Fallen Angel. It’s quite clear somebody is trying to frame me, and that somebody wants me out of the way. I would let you fans know who I think it is, but I’m only obliged to reveal so much. Let’s just say that I think Adam Phillips is a lousy owner, and the stupidest son of a bitch I ever met.”
We cut back to the arena and see Phillips, furious, and demanding the screen be turned off. Without warning, the sound of Megadeth’s “Return To Hangar” hits the speakers, and Reaper enters the arena, making his way purposefully to the ring, picking up another mike from ringside and going face to face with Phillips.
“Title shot, NOW”
Reaper grabs Phillips by the collar and literally lifts him off his feet. Phillips looks like he is about to say yes, when Vayne’s music hits, and the former TWF champion hits the stage.
“Hey, hey, hey. Drop him you troglodyte!”
Reaper drops Phillips roughly to the floor.
“If anyone deserves a title shot, then it would be me. I’m better than everyone else, and I was the first TWF Champion, therefore I deserve a title shot!”
Phillips pulls himself together and picks up the mike he dropped.
“Okay…. Reaper, don’t do that again, you son of a bitch! I’m not a rag doll, and I sure as hell ain’t your bitch, so don’t treat me as though I am, dammit! I see your point, Vayne, but Reaper also has a legitimate claim to face Ax. So tonight it will be (gulps) Reaper VS Vayne, one on one for the number one contendership spot!”
I Just Wanna Be God hits, and Phillips quickly leaves the ringside area. We cut to backstage, where we see Flake performing some stretches. The door to the room opens, and Rivers enters and sits nearby the German.
“Listen Flake, I don’t know why I’m telling you this but I feel that you’re the type of person who will listen and I need to ask you a question. Basically the real reason I’m here in the TWF is not to become as good as my father once was. I am here to find out who murdered my father. My father was deliberately killed in a car crash, not in a boating accident, but I believe that the driver of the other car deliberately rammed my father’s car. Both cars were found, but only my father remained, dead. A hair sample was found in the other car, but it couldn’t be matched. However, the hair was blonde in colour. And as you, Flake, are the only blonde haired guy in the TWF, I just want to know if it was you who did it.”
Flake cries at this heartfelt story.
“I was nedser in England befoor TWF, ja?”
“I didn’t think it was possible either, but thanks for being honest with me Flake and thanks for listening.”
Rivers leaves, looking sad.
The camera cuts to another area from backstage, we see the TWF champion Ax, confidently striding through a corridor, all of a sudden Spitfire appears and the two go nose to nose. There is a hushed silence over the crowd as everyone wonders what the hell the young spitfire think he’s doing confronting Ax like this. After several tense seconds of silence Ax smiles.
“Let me tell you something boy, Iv been watching you, and you know what, I think you’ve got potential! (Spitfire look wary), with the right training you could become a legend here in the TWF. That is however is you don’t become greedy, if you don’t become ungrateful, if u don’t become like Reaper, a spiteful and jealous BASTARD”.
As the crowd are stunned, Spitfire simply smile again, just as it appears Spitfire is about to say something, he quickly slaps Ax round the face and runs of hastily, leaving Ax stunned and very angry.
Adam Phillips enters the arena and states, “I’m not hear to talk this time, I’m hear to kick some ass, I’m gonna have another warm up match, and seeing as Spitfire looks like he’s in a fighting mood, hell he’ll do!” Spitfire then enters.
The match gets of to a quick start as spitfire quickly runs round Phillips and performs a belly to back suplex. As Adam is temporarily stunned, Spitfire jumps to the top of the nearest turnbuckle and dropkicks Adam in the face as he is attempting to get to his feet. Spitfire goes for the quick pin and nearly wins as Adam is clearly shocked. The match goes back and forth for some time with neither competitor gaining and advantage, that is until Phillips leaves the ring and grabs a chair, before he can enter the ring spitfire leaps over the top rope and kicks the chair into Phillips’s face. The match then becomes somewhat extreme outside the ring, the ref lets the battle continue. As it looks although several chair shots has worn Phillips down, he crawls in the ring and attempts to stand but falls and hits his head. Spitfire seizes the opportunity and jumps to the top of the ropes again and performs his devastating 450 elbow smash, however at the last second Phillips rolls out the way and Spitfire hits the mat. Phillips seems full of energy all of a sudden and quickly rolls Spitfire up for the 3 count. It appears the weary veteran owner of the TWF was playing possum!! Spitfire didn’t account for Adam’s long history of being able to with stand many vial shots to the head, and his lack of experience mixed with Phillips’s veteran play acting cost Spitfire the match.
Backstage interviewer Craig Books is seen asking Reaper what he thinks about the Fallen Angel situation.
“I think it’s pretty damn obvious that someone is holding back the truth, but it’s only a matter of time before the scum is revealed. Actually id like to take this time, in fact I damn well will take this time (grabs mike of Brooks and pushes him away), this is a message for you Fallen Angel, wherever you are out there I hope you are ok and I know I can honestly speak for everyone hear in the TWF and all the fans around the world that we miss you and we all look forward to hopefully returning one day and kickin some ass, Japanese big champion style, INVINCIBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. (Reaper pauses as the audience cheer loudly at the humour of hearing Reaper mock Fallen Angels trademark catchphrase). One more thing, this is a message to whom ever is holding Fallen Angel, I hear by promise that you will pay dear, and if its the last thing I do I will annihilate your punk ass”.
The crowd erupts, as Reaper is visibly moved and angry.
Vayne enters the ring in his usual cocky and extravagant manner, soon followed by the most intimidating force in the TWF, Reaper. Ax enters, carrying his renowned TWF World Championship.
This match is surprisingly short as Vayne simply doesn’t appear up to the challenge of Reaper at all. Reaper opens up on Vayne as the big man slams the former champions ribs on his legs several times. As Vayne attempts to fight back it appears that Reaper is furious and all Vayne’s attacks are simply shrugged off. Reaper begins to savagely hit Vayne in the head and face. As Vayne falls to the floor, Ax stands back as Reaper continues to attack the fallen Vayne on the floor. As Reaper continues to pummel Vayne’s face, Vayne is busted wide open and begins to bleed intensely, it soon becomes clear that Vayne is no longer conscious. After several more savage shots Ax finally realises that he must stop the match, he does so and awards the match to Reaper via knock out. Reaper stands covered in blood and thrusts his hands in the air in celebrations.
Suddenly Ax attacks reaper from behind with his kendo stick that was hidden under the ring. As Reaper is laid waste on the mat, Ax grabs a mike and addresses Reaper.
“I hope your happy, I hope this was what u wanted, cus now it will be me against you for the title, you’ve had an ass kickin coming for a long time and I’m gonna be the one to give it to you! That’s exactly what I’m gonna do to you somewhere down the line but until then I have some interesting news for you Reaper. Earlier today I received a phone call, a very unusual phone call, you see there’s plenty off ass kickin in the future for you Reaper, oh yeh, ya see next week will see the return of one of the most dangerous men ever to step foot in the squared circle and he’s coming for you Reaper, (laughing) he’s coming for you.
Ax laughs as Fuel goes of the air!
