MATCH 1 – Vayne VS The Player VS The Game VS Dirty Dipako
The bell rings and the match gets started with all four men in the ring. Vayne locks up against Dipako, and The Player gets to work straight away on The Game, slinging him into the corner and hitting a hard clothesline. The Game falls to the mat and rolls outside and to his corner. The Player moves over towards Vayne and Dipako, who as yet have not managed to get an advantage over each other. The Player runs at them and hits a double diving clothesline. Dipako hits the mat and carries on rolling, out of the ring and to the ringside area.
The Player picks Vayne to his feet and slings him to the corner, giving him a clothesline and a hip toss. The Player climbs to the second turnbuckle and drops an elbow, then goes for a cover. Vayne kicks out after 2. The Player lifts Vayne to his feet, picks him up and lifts him into a body press slam, then drops an elbow on the back of Vayne’s head. He bounces off the ropes and is blind tagged by Dipako, who enters the ring and continues the assault on Vayne. The Player argues with the ref, then takes matters into his own hands. Yet again, he steps out of the ring and reaches under the ring, grabbing a 2×4.
He slides back into the ring and hits Dipako square between the eyes with the 2×4. The ref calls for the bell and a disqualification as The Player hits Vayne in the gut with the 2×4, then hits him across the back with it. He turns to face The Game, who steps down from his corner and backs away. The Player smiles and drops the 2×4 as the ref moves in and informs The Player that he is disqualified. For a moment The Player does nothing, then suddenly punches the ref in the gut and lifts him up into the FU! The ref crashes to the mat and The Player gets to his feet and smiles again, before exiting the ring and leaving the arena. The Game sees an opportunity to do some damage and climbs into the ring.
He attacks Vayne first, who is the first to start getting to his feet. Dipako is apparently out cold, blood oozing from the 2×4 inflicted wound. The Game lifts Vayne up and sets him up for a Pedigree, but Vayne flips The Game over backwards, then stumbles to the ropes to steady himself. He recovers as best he can before The Game can get to his feet, then hits a running knee lift followed by three quick elbow drops. He follows up with a knee drop to The Game’s head, then goes for the cover. 1…2… The Game kicks out. Vayne lifts the groggy Game to his feet, bounces off the ropes and hits a running body splash, following up with several quick punches to the head. Dipako starts stirring in the corner, slowly regaining his bearings and cautiously checking the wound inflicted by The Player.
Vayne places The Game in a sleeper, but the hold is quickly broken and Vayne is slung into the ropes, then hit by a diving spear to the gut, further aggravating the injuries caused by The Player’s 2×4 attack. The Game goes for a cover. 1….2… Vayne kicks out. The Game lifts Vayne to his feet and slings him into the corner. He climbs to the second turnbuckle and hits Vayne with several punches to the head. Vayne retaliates by lifting The Game and carrying him away from the turnbuckle before dropping down and hitting a nasty Atomic Drop.
The Game hops around the ring, clutching at his groin, when Dipako stands and hits a dropkick to the back, whilst Vayne scales the turnbuckle. The Game staggers round and gets hit by the Deep Vayne! Vayne can’t make the cover! Dipako scales the turnbuckle himself and drops a splash on The Game, and manages to keep the cover. 1…2….3! We’re down to 1 on 1. The ref moves The Game out of the ring as Vayne and Dipako sluggishly throw punches at one another. Dipako gets the upper hand and slings Vayne against the ropes. Vayne ducks the attempted clothesline and bounces off the ropes on the other side, and quickly hits the surprised Dipako with a Frankensteiner! He holds onto Dipako’s legs for the cover…1…2….3! Vayne wins it! Dipako gets to his feet, unsure how he managed to lose. Vayne staggers out of the ring and up the ramp, victorious but looking much worse for wear.
We cut to backstage, where the Real Deal is sat watching the end of the #1 Contender’s match, before standing up and exiting the room, smiling. We cut to the canteen area backstage, where Huge Greenburger enters and looks around.
“Mr Vayne, I know you’re around here somewhereeeee!”
He walks further into the room, not really looking where he’s going. He continues a few more paces into the canteen where he accidentally bumps into The Stud, knocking over The Stud’s drink and spilling it down him. The Stud stands up, angered, and turns to face Greenburger, who backs off in fear and retreats into a corner, where he starts crying. The Stud moves towards Greenburger slowly, wiping off the spilt beverage as he goes. Before he can reach Greenburger, Flake enters the room hurriedly and throws himself between the two of them.
“Move out of the way Flake.”
“Nein! I cannot…. ja, cannot… allow you to harm mein freund Enormous Greenburger! You must…. ah, was ist das… you must fight mich before you touch Greenburger!”
“Okay, in the ring. Now.”
The Stud leaves the room as Flake helps Greenburger to his feet.
“Fankeww Uncle Flake! You can beat him, can’t he Mr Saddo?”
Greenburger and Flake smile at the Mr Saddo hand puppet as we cut to Harrison’s locker room. The champ sits there, staring at his belt, doing nothing else. We remain with Harrison focusing on his championship for a few moments before we cut to Vayne backstage, staring at himself in the mirror. He is clearly distressed at the damage his body has taken in the last match, and upset that he no longer looks perfect. We cut to the arena, where “Sanely Insane” hits the speakers and The Stud makes his way to the ring. he is closely followed by Flake, with Greenburger, as a very peculiar combination of Flake and Greenburger’s theme songs is played, resulting in a very strange mix.
MATCH 2 – “The Stud” Gary Matthews VS Flake Spitzenkörper (With Huge Greenburger)
The Stud attacks first, slamming Flake into the corner and pounding him with several hard punches to the ribs. The ref calls for the break and The Stud stops his attack reluctantly, before charging back in and continuing with his punches. The ref calls for the break again, and The Stud breaks his attack once more. He moves in again quickly to issue more punches, but Flake ducks out of the way and dropkicks The Stud on the back of his legs, then rolls him up with the schoolboy pin. The Stud kicks out after 1. And gives Flake a hard boot to the side of the head, rolling him up for a quick pin of his own. Flake kicks out after 2.
The Stud bounces off the ropes, but Greenburger reaches in and trips the big man. The Stud reacts angrily and grabs Greenburger by the ears and pulls him up onto the canvas. Flake takes the opportunity given to him by Greenburger and dropkicks Stud out of the ring, accidentally taking Greenburger with him. Flake panics, not wanting to hurt Greenburger, and runs to the outside, only to find Greenburger sat across a near unconscious Stud. Flake breathes a sigh of relief as he moves Greenburger aside and throws The Stud back into the ring. It is obvious that Greenburger is packing a lot more weight than initial estimates thought. Flake waits a moment for The Stud to get some bearings, then runs at the turnbuckle and hits the Flake Splash! He goes for the cover. 1…2…3! A surprise victory for the German, and all thanks to the sheer weight of Huge Greenburger! The Stud lies on the mat stunned as Greenburger and Flake celebrate.
We cut to the medical unit backstage where Dipako is being stitched up following his match. Simon Prior walks past, looks at Dipako’s injury, then smiles and carries on. Dipako looks on, confused, as we cut to the arena.
“I Will Fight Alone” hits the arena speakers and the TWF Champion makes his way to the ring. He stands in the centre of the ring, waiting for his un-named opponent. Nothing happens for what seems like minutes, until Over the Mountain hits and Simon Prior appears on the stage with a microphone.
“Sean, there’s no doubt in my mind that as the first TWF Champion you should take on all comers and be a fighting champion. But before I get to that, I have a few announcements to make. The first TWF PPV will be broadcasting on Sunday the 8th August 2004. The Stud and The Player are really creating strong images for themselves, and so I think that at Against All Odds these two should fight one another in a “Strength VS Strength” Match, to determine which of them has the most physical power.
As for Real Deal and Dirty Dipako… you two aren’t getting on at all, are you? And thanks to The Player’s vicious assault on Dipako earlier, I have the perfect match for the PPV. Deal, Dipako… you two will fight in a First Blood match! As for you Harrison, you’re opponent is confirmed for Against All Odds – Vayne has won the right to face the TWF Champion. Now whether or not it’s you that faces Vayne at the PPV or not is up to you. Do you think you have what it takes to be a long term TWF Champion? Yes? Then I think you should go up against a former 2 time TWF Champion! Therefore its is my decision that tonight you shall defend your World title against…. Real Deal!”
“Symphony of Destruction” hits and Real Deal makes his way to the ring, shaking hands with Simon Prior on the way and looking extremely smug and confident. He steps into the ring and both men stare at each other from opposite corners.
MATCH 3 – Sean Harrison VS Real Deal (TWF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP)
Both men look confident as the bell rings. The lock up in the centre of the ring with Harrison gaining the upper hand, using his full strength advantage to put Deal into a hard armbar, holding the move and lifting Deal off his feet and down heavily to the mat. He throws Deal to the ground with a reverse hip toss then locks in a sitting shoulder lock, wrenching back on Deal’s arm. Deal struggles and slowly manages to reach the ropes. Harrison gets to his feet and drops a quick leg drop on Deal, then picks him up and bodyslams him. He goes for the cover, but Deal kicks out after 2. Harrison continues his assault, placing Deal in a chicken wing hold for a few moments, before lifting Deal up and hitting a chicken-wing suplex with the bridge.
The ref counts, but again Deal kicks out after 2. Both men return to their feet, where Harrison hits a boot to the head, followed by a belly-to-back suplex on the stunned Deal. He thinks about going for a cover, but changes his mind and decides to inflict more punishment. Harrison lifts Deal up and hits a shoulder breaker, then decides to go for the cover. 1…2… Deal kicks out. Harrison stands but is hit by a sweep kick from Deal, knocking the champion down onto his back. Deal throws some punches and elbows to the head of Harrison, and follows all of this with a figure four leglock in the centre of the ring. Harrison struggles with the pain, but manages to drag himself far enough to reach the ropes.
The ref calls for the hold to be broken, but Deal holds it until the 4 count before breaking it. He drags Harrison into the centre of the ring and drops some elbows to the legs of Harrison, and gives him a few kicks to the thighs for good measure. Deal goes for the figure four again, but Harrison kicks him away. Deal returns quickly and smashes Harrison with a side kick that knocks Harrison reeling, but not off his feet. Deal runs at the champ and hits the running neckbreaker, then goes for a cover. He gets a 2 count. Deal backs off and waits for Harrison to get back to his feet. Deal attacks from behind, locking Harrison into the Deal Maker – he hits it! The ref goes down to count. 1…2… Harrison kicks out! Deal can’t believe it, and wonders what he can do to take Harrison down.
Deal decides to climb the turnbuckle, and waits for Harrison to return to his feet. Deal dives, attempting a body splash, but Harrison ducks out of the way and Deal hits the mat hard. Harrison lifts Deal up and locks in the Attitude Adjustment – he hits hit! the ref counts. 1…2…3! Harrison successfully defends his world title! He grabs his belt from ringside and celebrates as Deal lies dazed on the mat, as Xtreme goes off the air!
