As the lights rise in the arena, Symphony of Destruction blasts out, and Deal makes his entrance, once more decked out in shirt and tie. He grabs the microphone from the ring announcer, and stares out at the capacity crowd for a few moments before speaking.
“I’ve got a few things I’d like to say, so shut your faces for a few minutes! *Crowd boos* First of all, the appearance of that… that… guy at the end of Fuel last week was totally unplanned and unappreciated – how dare he interrupt my business, never mind attacking me AND signing himself into the Title tournament. I mean, who the hell does he think he is?!? Just because he’s got long hair and biker boots doesn’t mean he can roll in here and take over the place – I’m in charge, dammit, and I deserve respect! I am number one in the business, and I…
Deal stops suddenly, as sounds start emanating from the entranceway, building up to reveal that it is Reaper’s entrance theme. The sound of guitars rips through the arena, as reaper makes his way slowly to the ring, containing a more than annoyed Real Deal. He gets in the ring, never looking anywhere else but at Deal. They go face to face, before Deal speaks into the mike.
“Well, I see you’re here, unannounced and unwanted, AGAIN. You know, I’m half considering pressing charges against you for last week. But… seeing as you’ve inducted yourself into my little tournament, I’ve no doubt I can punish you better myself *laughs*.
Reaper grabs the mike, and Deal stops laughing, staring with unrelenting hatred at his nemesis. The crowd go wild.
“Shut up! I’m here for one reason, and one reason only, and that’s to kick some ass! Seeing as you’re here, and you’re in my way, why not make it how it used to be, and I kick your ass first?”
“Oh no no no. In case you didn’t hear me properly, I’m in charge of this company, and you’ll do what I say.”
“Okay, boss-man. I’ve got an even better idea – why don’t you and I start that title tournament right now?”
Deal laughs again. “No! Dammit, who do you think you are? I mean, I don’t even know your name for God’s sake!”
Reaper gets right in Deal’s face, looking very serious and intimidating, so much so that Deal backs off a few steps, looking weary.
“You, little man, can call me… Reaper. That’s exactly why I’m here – to destroy the souls of every TWF superstar I feel like kicking the SHIT out of.”
The crowd erupt, as Deal gulps. As the two once more go face to face, Down With The Sickness sounds through the arena, and Vayne makes a hasty entrance into the ring. He grabs another mike from the ring announcer, and addresses Reaper, albeit stood slightly behind Deal.
“Hey you, big biker guy. Yeah, I’m talking to you son of a bitch! As the greatest TWF superstar of all time (Glances at Deal), and not to mention the best looking, I have to protest that you… YOU!, are a part of this company, and that you can come out and here and shout your mouth off about being so damn impressive, how your gonna kick everyone’s ass – well I’d like to see you try to kick Deal’s ass!”
Real Deal turns and looks at Vayne, concerned. Vayne is pumped. Deal steps back slightly, looking increasingly worried, as Reaper steps forward.
“Is that a challenge, boy?”
“Er… yeah, Deal’ll kick your ass anyway!”
Reaper turns, amused, before quickly turning back and lamping Vayne in the face. Vayne goes down like a ton of bricks. Reaper proceeds to issue Vayne with a serious beating, as Deal quickly makes an exit from the ring. Reaper gestures angrily at Deal as Deal goes through the curtain.
We see Greenburger and Flake talking backstage. Flake is speaking in German very loudly and with violent gestures. Greenburger is scared, and doesn’t know whether or not he should faint or run away. Flake says “Spiel Mit Mir Ein Spiel.” Greenburger doesn’t understand, and Flake repeats his phrase, indicating that he wants Greenburger to play a game – of paper, rock, and scissors. Greenburger still does not understand, and then faints from confusion. Flake looks on stupidly, before playing rock, paper, and scissors with himself in the mirror.
Cut to Deal’s office, where he’s on the phone once again, talking (apparently) to the Police.
“No, officer, I haven’t any idea where Fallen Angel is… I wish you’d stop asking – you asked me last week… Okay, I will officer. Bye.”
Vayne enters the office without knocking and waits for Deal to notice he’s there, clutching his nose. Deal doesn’t realise he’s there, and so Vayne, agitated, screams in pain. Deal looks round, and now finally acknowledges Vayne’s presence.
“What the hell is happening with that… that Reaper dude? (he clutches at his nose again) I think that bastard broke my nose!”
“Don’t worry, I’ve got it all sorted out – tonight Reaper will face me and you in a handicap match. That’ll teach him some respect.”
“Good, time to teach that sumbitch some manners.”
As he leaves, Deal returns to his computer. Vayne, not looking where he’s going, walks into the staggering Greenburger, who attempts to enter Deal’s office. However, he speaks to Vayne first.
“Hello HHH!”
“I’M NOT TRIPLE H!!!”
Vayne storms off, and Greenburger whimpers, and wipes a few tears from his eyes. He composes himself, and enters Deal’s office, like Vayne not knocking. Deal is less than pleased to see Greenburger, and slaps his forehead.
“I’ve gotta get a lock on that door…”
“Mr Real Deal, can I have a contract? All I want to do is be a… a intervoower.”
Deal thinks for a moment, while Greenburger looks as though he’s going to start crying again.
“Okay, Greenburger, you can have a contract – but only if you beat Flake Spitzen-what’s his name in a Gorilla-Press match later tonight.”
“Okay, thankyooooooo!”
Greenburger stands for a few seconds.
“What’s a gorilla-press?”
“Never mind. Just get out!”
Greenburger jumps up and down with joy, then proceeds to run out of the room. But the door is closed, and he knocks himself out running into and through it, collapsing on the other side. Deal bangs his head against the desk.
We move to the arena, as Zwitter plays, and Flake enters, waving to the crowd in an ignorant fashion – we see a sign that says “Ich liebe dich”, to which Flake smiles and blows a kiss. His pyro explodes on the stage as he does this, scaring him slightly. He climbs into the ring, and proceeds with his pre-match stretching ritual. Hulk’s Theme plays, and Greenburger enters, looking half-awake, still with shards of wood stuck to his Goldberg t-shirt and Hulk Hogan bandanna. About half way down the ramp, there is an pop above Greenburger, and red, white and blue confetti falls to the ground and sprinkles the entrance ramp and a few fans. Greenburger screams, and leaps to the floor, covering his head. Flake looks on in stupid wonder. After a couple of seconds, Greenburger gets up, realising he’s in no immediate danger, and flops into the ring.
Match: Greenburger VS Flake (Gorilla Press match)
Greenburger tries to lift Flake immediately after the bell, and fails as his back seemingly gives out. Flake gains momentum, and tries to lift Greenburger. He gets him by the neck, and reaches for the groin several times, with Greenburger desperately avoiding his attempts, swatting his hand away. Eventually, Greenburger screams and runs off, and gets counted out, as Flake is announced as the victor.
Flake walks back to the locker room, puts on a Rammstein album, and head bangs. He takes his shorts off and throws them towards the cameraman, who ducks out of the way quickly, but also out of the room. The door shuts. When the camera regains its place, Reaper walks past, nods at the music, and stops as Adam Creswell approaches him.
“How do you feel about the handicap match tonight, knowing that Deal and Vayne are out for some revenge?”
“I don’t care what Deal and Vayne have planned. All I know is that I’ve got a little surprise for them, not to mention I’ll kick both their Asses on my own anyway.”
We move to Deal’s office, who addresses the camera.
“I would like to take this time to announce the first ever TWF PPV, appropriately named Brave New World. This event will take place on Sunday 27th October 2002, but don’t expect Reaper to get there in one piece – he’s gonna be lucky to walk out of here tonight by himself.”
Cut back to the arena, as Return to Hangar, Reaper’s new entrance music, hits. He enters in the usual fashion, and signals to the already ecstatic crowd. Down With The Sickness hits, and Vayne enters, although he initially refuses to get in the ring alone with Reaper, preferring to wait for Deal to enter. Symphony of Destruction plays, and Deal enters for the first time in wrestling gear – blue shirt with a Joe Satriani “Engines of Creation” t-shirt beneath. Deal is also hesitant to get in the ring. Both he and Vayne converse for a few moments, as Reaper takes a microphone.
“I just thought I’d let you know that a friend of mine, via contractual agreements, is still under contract here in the TWF. And he’s here tonight to carry on where he left off – new elbow and all!”
Out of the Silent Planet hits, as the crowd go wild. Ax steps out onto the stage, kendo stick in hand, and nods to the crowd before making his way to the ring. Once again, Deal and Vayne cannot believe the route that the evening has taken.
Match: Reaper VS Deal and Vayne
The match is mostly Deal and Vayne dominated, as they make the most of their one-man advantage over Reaper. However, there are times where Reaper fights back, with chokeslams and several bone-crunching back-breakers. After 10 minutes, Deal and Vayne start to double team Reaper. Ax attempts to intervene, but is knocked off the apron by Deal, then hit by the DeepVayne from the top turnbuckle to the outside of the ring. Ax is laid out, and Vayne slightly dazed, and staggers back into the ring. Deal attempts the Deal-Breaker on Reaper, but Flake runs to the ring, distracting Deal long enough for Reaper to reverse the move. A brawl starts up between Deal and Reaper as Flake attacks Vayne. Vayne and Flake quickly stop fighting, and attempt to split up Deal and Reaper, who both now have chairs in their hands. Vayne manages to persuade Deal to leave the ringside area, and both make their way up the ramp and to the stage. Reaper and Flake stand side by side in the ring, looking towards Deal and Vayne. Unexpectedly, Ax attacks them from behind with his kendo stick, laying them both out with vicious shots to the head. Ax sets up one of the chairs near the corner, then raises Reaper to his feet. He climbs the turnbuckle, and does the Ax-Cutter from the second rope onto the chair. His work complete, Ax proceeds to leave the ring. Deal attempts to shake Ax’s hand as he walks past, but Ax carries on backstage, ignoring them both. Deal and Vayne look slightly confused as Fuel goes off the air.
